Texas Terminal Condensate Splitter | Benham | Architecture, Engineering, & Designbuild Firm

Texas Terminal Condensate Splitter

Project Description

  • Client:
    Magellan Midstream Partners, LP
  • Location:
    Corpus Christi, Texas

The project consists of designing a single train processing 50,000 barrels per day of a condensate material to obtain intermediate products sustainable for commercial use or as feedstock for further refining. The train design gives them ultimate flexibility to build out additional capacity without impacting the unit in operation.

Benham has been able to take decades of downstream process experience and complex engineering design capabilities and help our clients find a processing outlet for their condensate at a critical time in shale energy. – Bob Perry, Program Manager

The project will start with the design and construction of one train, but an identical train may be added in the future, potentially increasing the overall output to 100,000 barrels per day.
