Benham provided full planning and A/E design services to modernize the existing research and development, customer collaboration and pilot plant operations. To achieve the current best practices in food preparation, research, sensory labs, product development and customer interface, the improvements included updated equipment, presentation systems, laboratory environment, communication and collaboration tools. The Pilot Plant is undersized for the intent of installing a precisely scaled version of the new manufacturing line operations. A building addition will be required along with civil and site modifications to accommodate access, circulation and utilities and parking.

The project is a multi-phase program beginning with end user interviews, stakeholder consensus, scope definition and preliminary engineering.
